R. Sirkis Publishers Ltd specializes in the publishing of cookbooks, children books, sex education, do-it-yourself and self-help books.

The company was founded in 1983. Ruth Sirkis, the President and Founder of the company was active in the fields of journalistic writing, in publishing, in radio and in television programs for 15 years prior to the foundation of the company.

The majority of the books published by the company are in the Hebrew Language. But there are a number of books in other Languages too. The two major ones are:

The Hebrew books of the company are comprised of both originally written books and translated/adapted books. The original Hebrew books include original graphics and color photography. Many of the translated books were heavily edited and adapted to the Israeli market.

R. Sirkis Publishers Ltd. has a strong backlist of very successful books. Books that sell steadily over the years, and are re-printed year after year. The company is out-sourcing the production to the largest and most modern book manufacturing facilities in Israel. R. Sirkis Publishes books can be purchased in all the bookstores in Israel. Rare and out-of-print titles may still be available directly.

The home-page of the web-site in Hebrew  includes news about Food, Wine, and Lifestyle, which are relevant to Israeli readers. We write about products and services that we tried and that we liked. We do not write about disappointing ones.

Two kinds of recipes are accessible in the Hebrew part:

Home Recipes which are recipes that we tried and photographed, some are even accompanied by short demonstration videos.

Chef's Recipes which we receive, and they seem reasonable to us. We do not assume any responsibility regarding these recipes.

Both kinds of recipes and their accompanying food pictures are suitable for printing individually, on regular home printers, on regular A4 paper.
